Position : Helpdesk Specialist
Location : Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
Clearance required and Security+ ce certification
The Help Desk Support Technicians field help desk calls from various AFRL customers. They will troubleshoot, diagnose, and help resolve trouble tickets effectively and efficiency. They must demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and technical proficiency during every customer interaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide professional customer service through responsiveness
• Install new and maintain existing hardware and software
• Investigate hardware problems and perform system hardware and communication connection repairs
• Analyze, plan, design, and install new personal computer systems
• Review, monitor, and upgrade existing personal computer systems
• Provide accurate troubleshooting that ensure satisfactory call resolution
• Support and maintain database integrity
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Secret Clearance
• Security+ certification
• Experienced in Windows environment, Linux a plus
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to accurately document data for required reporting
• Effective communication with peers and leadership
• Must provide value-added Customer Service
